AWARD FROM NATIONAL BUFFALO WING FESTIVAL
SHARON, PA. – September 9, 2011 – Quaker Steak & Lube®'s fresh, never frozen, Buffalo-style chicken wings continue to earn accolades from guests and wing contest judges. America's #1 motorsports-theme restaurant, which already owns hundreds of national and international awards for its wings and sauces, garnered second place in the Traditional Hot category at the 2011 National Buffalo Wing Festival.
The festival, held in Buffalo, New York, celebrated its 10th anniversary over Labor Day weekend. Over the years, it has drawn more than half a million visitors and served more than 2.9 million chicken wings. Last year, The Lube® nabbed the Fan Favorite title by selling more wings than any other restaurant.
